Jack Crazyquilt moved back to the Southwestern desert to get some peace. But life is never that simple, even for a Zen coyote. After being joined by a paranoid fox, a philosophical alien, and a cynical Southern belle, Jack decides to leap headfirst into the chaos -- much to the chagrin of his drunken Zen master.

What's New

September 20, 2001: New music is available at the MP3 site. It's a single song, right now, called Childhood's End. I created it over the last several days as another response to the bombings. One electric guitar, one Native American flute, and a lot of pent up emotions.

Please give a listen to Zak's music, which combines Native American flute, guitar, and percussion. There are 3 CDs available on MP3.com. One of the CDs, "Crazyquilt," is the music from my thesis project, which you can follow along here. You can hear the title track here. Telling the Beads was written as an imaginary soundtrack for Sifu kicking butt. The second CD, "Love Talker" is more eclectic, from the tribal surf of Surfing the Dreamtime to the marriage of blues and native flute of Love Talker to my personal favorite, Ghosts of the Dead. The third CD, "Sundog's Flute" is, as you can imagine, very flute-oriented. To listen to more of the over two hours of music I've made available, or to purchase a CD, go to the Crazyquilt website on MP3.com.

Please visit the Fool's Gold Saloon, where you can pick up souvenirs of your trip out west. There's a Sifu t-shirt & two mugs, one with Spooky's Rules of Adventuring, the other with Jack and a coffee koan. Check it out!
